Monroe County commissioner Mark Brant was sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to a federal drug charge.
Brant pleaded guilty in the US District Court in the Northern District of Ohio to one count of Maintaining a Drug-Involved Premises on March 20. He was sentenced on Sept. 11 to 18 months in prison and will be on supervised release for two years after his incarceration.
