Jennifer Krouse and Tricia Jackson, two county commissioners in Jefferson County, West Virginia, are facing dozens of criminal charges, including conspiracy.

Krouse and Jackson were arraigned on March 12, 2024, in Jefferson County Magistrate Court on 42 misdemeanor charges ranging from failure to perform official duties to conspiracy to commit a crime against the state.

Jackson is also a Republican candidate for state auditor.

Bail for each woman was set at $42,000 cash.
